INTEL i7-6700K Processor
At the heart of the CUK Nightblade MI2 is an Intel i7-6700K processor. This quad-core, eight-threaded processor with 8MB of L3 cache Intel claims is up to 10% faster than its predecessor, the Haswell-based Core i7-4790K. The 6700K's peak clock speed is down a little bit, at 4.2GHz instead of the 4.4GHz Turbo peak on the 4790K, but the 6700K can run all four cores at 4.2GHz under load. It delivers comparable performance to extreme CPUs that have a much higher cost.
The Core i7-6700K is Intel's latest Skylake flagship processor. It replaces the hugely successful i7-4790K and takes the crown as the fastest mainstream consumer CPU available. Comparing performance and specs between the 4790K and 6700K shows that the configuration is largely unchanged (same base clocks, cores, threads) but the improved manufacturing process (14nm) brings a small reduction in TDP and a performance improvement of 8% for multi-threaded applications.
The i7-6700K is the processor of choice for Photoshop. Not only does the i7-6700K have significant performance improvements over the i7-4790K, but the move to DDR4 RAM means that you do not need to use the slower (for Photoshop at least) socket 2011 CPUs if you need more than 32GB of system RAM.
Processing images using Panaorma Factory takes only 7.8 seconds which is not quite as fast as the i7-5960X extreme CPU but it is a slightly lower time than the i7-4960X. You can find faster performing extreme (i.e. i7-4960X and i7-5960X) and Xeon processors but for the cost, nothing will outperform the Intel Core i7-6700K.

The GTX 970 is a hugely impressive card. Its performance is close to Nvidia’s Titan X, with the cut-down memory configuration appearing to have little impact – and it also trounces the GTX 980 in every important benchmark.

The performance per unit of weight or cost is so strong that some might say there's little point considering any other high-end GPU currently available.
If you wish to play in Full HD, the GTX 970 is perfect for your needs and even with higher resolutions such as 2560x1440 and ultra / very high setting, you can expect at least 40fps.ss that appeared to have reached its thermal boundaries with the previous-generation NVIDIA GK110. During gaming, the GTX 970 uses power comparable to the GTX 780 Ti, while being much faster at the same time. Some other high end cards actually consume over 3x the power to complete such simple tasks as media playback or multi-monitor desktop.
